The World of Business - Full of F # % @ E R S ! ! !


Dog eat dog world as they say, with unforeseen things, with unexpected results; amazing how one call themselves as F R I E N D S, but in the end (at times, in the middle of it) stabbed you at the back, stabbed deep and continuously, and kept on stabbing, like its a joy for them to see me getting hurt, bleeding like nobody's business... all because of? $$$ . . .

I recall saying this one; hence am gonna say it out loud again...

I don't treat you like a friend anymore - you're nothing but like a piece of s * % t to me now ! ! !

Sh*thead: Congrats u ols for getting the group!!!

Me: What group?

Sh*thead: The group going to Europe? I heard you got the tender?

Me: What tender? What group? What Europe?

Sh*thead: Owh come on - please don't be modest or secretive like this...

Me: I don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about?

Sh*thead: Your agency? Got the Group A to Europe package thing? Come on...

Me: Exactly my point - MY AGENCY!? I thought your agency got through. I pulled out from submitting the quotation 2 weeks before the tender closed...

Sh*thead: Well, if it's not YOUR agency, and certainly not MY agency, then which agency got the group A to Europe package???

And boom, 3 weeks later...

Me: Where's XXXXXXXXXX ek?

A friend: He went to Europe...

Me: Ah I see... vacation eh?

A friend: No, with that group A...

Me: Group A? The one he kept on saying that would be going to Europe with me? That little jerk!

3 months later...

Me: So, are you going to submit your quotations for the Istanbul trip?

Another Sh*thead: Nah, don't think so. The costing alone is like way too high - don't think I'll ever manage to bring the costing down to meet the group's budgetary requirements... are you?

Me: Well probably I suppose. And I have to admit, it's costly but hey, just trying out, no harm in trying.

Another Sh*thead: Good spirit!

*Sigh* Never knew I've got so many friends in the business world who were actually sh*theads!!!

N U R L E A @ Home: *As i woke up this morning, found out I ols telah ditikam˛ dari belakang... tak cukup dengan itu, I ols dia cincang˛ lumat˛ sampai habis, oleh someone i ols thought, a friend in b u s i n e s s . Adeih.... h a r a p k a n p a g a r , p a g a r m a k a n p a d i . . .


And where's the "Nah, don't think so. The costing alone is like way too high - don't think I'll ever manage to bring the costing down to meet the group's budgetary requirements..."??? After finding out my costings and all, sitting down, discussing this and that - as long time friends, never expected to hear that Sh*thead, who is even worse than the first Sh*thead, would do such a thing; cutting down on me, giving out a quotation to this group, with lower rates, and all... I'm so, out of words already...

LKY: In the business world these days I'd have to say that I've come to realize the fact that there are actually no friends around you, only E N E M I E S you have yet to meet up . . . and when you finally do meet 'em up, you better be prepared . . .
