Malaysian Idol, Akademi Fantasi, Audition - antara kemampuan sebenar, dan pilihan peminat...

Dearest all...



Since demam reality shows nih kembali, sekembalinya Akademi Fantasi musim ke-3 nih, I thought of writing something regarding this... saje je ubah angin; tulis bab bab happenings in town, kan? :)



Personally - I do watch all these stuffs, tapi, tak mengikuti sangat la kan perkembangannye; kire macam, on and off aje la mek ikuti perkembangan all these reality singing/ talent shows nih. MI, I watched dedekat nak habis dah - tu pun sebelum2 tu, kalau ade news apa apa pon, by gossip aje. Audition 1, tgk la jugak sikit2 - tapi bile start part berlakon tu - I would normally switch to another channel, and AF1 - tgk sikit2. AF2 however - mek tgk banyak sikit if nak compared to AF1. Sebabnye? Ade lah sebab2 nye... Ehehe - ok ok! Sebab ade Kaer itiew. Cute sangat.

Kaer Kaer Kaer... haiiiii... cairrr...


Eheheheh... Apa apa pon, back to the topic here - the main issue dalam entry nih is this...

"Pilihan/ Undian penonton/ peminat; adakah sama dengan kemampuan mereka dalam arena seni suara tanahair?"

I know I am not in the correct position to talk about this tapi just to sembang2; wouldn't you agree, ape yang dipilih/ yang menang - sometimes, atas dasar "suka" or "minat" or "syiok" or sebab contestant tu cute ke handsome ke lawa ke cun ke ape ke - dan bukan berdasarkan kemampuan peserta reality show itiew? For instance - AI (American Idol) - tu, sape tu namanye tu, alaaa, ha.. si La Toya London itiew - Mek very the sedeh pilu teratai layu ditasik kelana jaya, bile dapat tau dia tersingkir - based on pilihan, votes - dia tercampak kuar di peringkat ke berape tah (punye lah jahil tak tahu menahu hal2 nih. LOL!) - Walhal si La Toya itiew (mengingatkan kiew kepada La Toya Jackson la pulak) - dia lah yang diwar warkan sebagai the next AI, diexpectedkan sebagai pemenangnye. Dah ler suara power, rupa pong ade (sweet) - tapi, itu la dia, dikatakan the power of votes, kan? Isk - mek pilu... Syahdu bile nengok dia tersingkir itiew...

But don't get me wrong - I'm not saying yang dah menang segala AF1, AF2, Audition 1, MI 1, and so forth tu semuanye tak bagus menyanyi - semuanye terror ok, masing2 ade bakat! Respect sgt2 si Jac MI 1 itiew - suara, haiyoh!!!! Lantang! Siape nak jawab? Tapi at the same time - Dina pon (the Runner up), ala ala va va voom jugak, kan? Ha, itu, how to jawab?

Jac and Dina - rentap berentap di malam finals Malaysian Idol!


I guess all am trying to say here is that - pilhan, or undian kite tu, memang penting, memang perlu diambil kire. Namun begitu, adakah our right choice is the best choice? Hmmm - or is it the other way round; adekah pilihan terbaik kite itu, the right choice? Think about it. Lets...

Ape motif ade juri professional? Sekadar nak kasik pandapat dan pandangan aje ke? I still say that pilihan kite, viewers, memang penting - but don't you think, by allowing us to vote and the results are based 100% on our votes tu, macam, tah lah - I shouldn't be saying this but then, ape pointnye ade juri?

Owh Abang Roslankiew... hehehehehe...


Maybe dah banyak orang persoalkan hal ini - dan mek ala ala slow coach jer baru nak sentuh hal perihal reality shows nih kan - akan tetapi, its like what they say, it's never too late. So - comments2 anda amatlah diperlukan - dan tersangatlah dihargai. So tunggu ape lagi, lets start commenting kat my comment entry area bawah itiew. Ehehehehe...

Mek also nak masuk lahhh AF ke MI ke - lip sync aje lah, can ah? Ehehehe... suara betoi? Haiyoh! Maaati la mek! Ehehehe

How to comment, tak paham concept lah...? Cerita sikit...
"Cam nih - dalam comment area tu - just voice out lar what you think about all this reality shows - tak kire lah AI ke, MI ke AF ke ape ke - janji - what do you personally think about all this? Should reality shows give 100% hak kepada peminat utk vote? And if that's the case - adekah juara/ pemenang itu, layak, based on kemampuan serta bakat sendirian berhad, or just menang sebab vote? And if 100% pemilihan diberi kepada penonton serta peminat, don't you think we shoulc skip the juri2 professional? Kalau ade setakat kasik komen - hmmm.. cam ne? - haaa.. gittu2 lar..."

Apa apa pon leh cakap ke kat sini? Nak komen ape2 pon, boleh ek?

Right, so, anyways, previously I did an entry on "The Worst in Miss Universe 2004 Vs..." me, kan??? Entry tu ala ala macam very the propah bangat+hanjengkan diri mek sendiri gittu, kan?! (Yer! Walaupun ala ala menghanjengkan diri sendiri, tetap kena ade element memuji propah also - baru ekosistem kemanusiaan itiew stabil dan saksama, giiittuuu!) Eheheh - So anyways, paparan utk hari ini piula, dalam entry kali nih, would be - lets see what the BEST in Miss Universe 2004 has got to offer, and Vs, the best of Nurlea Laurielle Lai Lee Abdullah- maaaati la mek...



National Costume round

The Best in National Costume Miss Universe 2004 - Miss Trinidad and Tobago: Like, hello??? Motif burung- burungan concept? Walaupun cantik - tapi mek tetap fonkiused. MOTIF BURUNG!?!?! Memang meletop costume dia - harus kalau nak pack baju nih- mesti berbag bag. Dan yang penting, pose ala ala "I'm like a bird...." gittu... macam la boleh terbang pong! Feeeling la ko Miss Trinidad, kan!!!

The Pencabar - Miss Mexico/ Universe 2003: Winning 2nd runner up for Best National costume malam tu memang mengejutkan beberapa pihak - and it certainly kejutkan diri mek sendiri. Tapi lepas tgk 1st Runner up, Miss India dan Best National Costume Winner - Miss Virgin Island- mek dapat simpulkan something - simplicity is the key! The top 3 winners malam tu semuenye played simple. I was in all white renda renda rendus dan bervail ala ala spanish sikit gittu - thought dah salah tema tapi, judges dah buat pilihan - feeling aje lah.... namun begitu, skirt renda rendi rendusku itiew telah 3 kali disabo (secara tak sengaja) oleh contestant belakang mek - ala ala... "Noq, kain ko panjang sangat lah!"... Kejis kan?

Evening wear category

The Best evening dress in Miss Universe 2004 - Miss Paraguay: Yer lah - sah sah tetek membuak2 meluak2 camtu, harus la judges suke! Macam kecik sangat tau the top part tu, penat semput teteks pompuan tu nak bernafaz. Tapi ala ala nice lah; sebab - tah - white always menarik minat mek. Designnye pun melerts - very the belah slit sampai ke cikpuks! Harus leh tunjuk best legs mek! Ehehehehe... MTT/MPS! Maaati la ko!

The Pencabar - Miss Dominican Republic/ World 2004: This dress - well, the most outstanding di malam Miss World itiew - won Best Evening dress! Designed by Hydee, the dress memang detailsnye very eleborate. Corsetnye - haiyoh! 3 org pakaikan - ikat sekuat2 hati nak kasik nampak shape. Abang Hydee memang did a very good job. And the dress was made in 1 1/2 weeks. Pergh! And plus - what's more interesting about the dress - the long skirt with tails dibelakang dan ala ala short skirt didepan - very der design nih mek suke sangat. Colours pulak - what can I say? Waktu tu, that colour was 'in'! Ehehehe....



Swimsuit category

The Best in Miss Universe 2004 swimsuit category - Miss Australia (Merangkap Miss Universe 2004): Haiyoh!!! Tgk la body dia! Tgk la cik tek dia! Tgk lah segalanye! Mak makan hati ok! Harus lah kalau cam nih, mak also akan tercampak! Cam nih, mek nak kekal bertanding dengan Andrea Fonseka aje lah! Bole? Ehehehe... Cantik sangatkan dia nih? Rase cam nak bonoh jer. Ehehehehe...

The Pencabar - Me, during Superdiva 2002: Yooo lah! Ini jer pic mek yang paling 'ok' dalam swimming suit, tau! Tapi memang mek suka pic nih pon - the face, very derrr! Ehehehe - tapi, kalau cam nih, mampu ke nak bersaing ngan Jeniffer Hawkins Miss Universe 2004 tu u ols? Ala ala lite2 jer la ek? - Tapi mek berani kerat jari, kalu bertanding dengan Andrea Fonseka, mek menang! Waahhh gittu, boleh?

Mana interview roundnye? Saje je mek skip - malas nak buat - lagikpun, entry nih pasal propah about me - so - kalau buat lebih2, borink lak, kan? Tak pe - nanti mek carik korek idea entry2 yang akan menghanjengkan diri mak lagik! Eheheheheheeh...

I received an email from Volks@Vw the other day ; "Fwd: Fw: Best & Worst of Miss Universe 2004". Email tu all about, yes, the Best and Worst of MU2004 (yang original tu ler... sape2 nak email nih, contact lah mek! Let me know u ols punye email add kat the comment column and then mek akan forwardkan email itiew...)

Tapi dalam entry nih, mek bukan nak comment ape2 pasal that email, akan tetapi, in this entry, I will like to here pendapat2 you ols about something - The Worst in Miss Universe 2004 VS me, Nurlea Laurielle Lai Lee Abdullah. Ehehehehehe.... comment lah sikit ek? Like, mampu ke mek bersaing with these WORST in MU2004, especially yang tu tu, ape, Andrea Fonseka Miss Malaysia itiew? Haiyoh! The Worst in Miss Universe 2004's National Costume round: Miss Ukraine - Like, the worst in MU2004's National Costume was given to Miss Ukraine - Tapi sebenarnye mek ala ala suke la costume dia, sexy ok! Muka pon lawo, badan solid - cuma, MOTIF BUNGA MATAHARI ITIEW DI TETEKZ KANANNYE!?!?!?!?!!?? Hurmmmmmm....

The Worst Evening Dress in Miss Universe 2004: Miss Slovak Republic - Eeewww!!! Scarecrows-motive-design dress ka? Isk isk isk - tapi actually mek sukekan concept design bahagian pergelangan tangannye tu. But I guess the material / design material tu yang buatkan the dress ala ala sangkak the max!

The pencabar: Miss Mexico/ Universe 2003 - Simple design, material jer va va voom - Euromoda ok!!! Semeter RM300 hengget, siapa mau jawab!?!?!?!

The Worst in swimwear category, in Miss Universe 2004: Miss MALAYSIA - ASTAGA!!!!! What happened ere!?!?!?!? Motifssss??? Isk - badan mek SEKARANG pon tak seteruk ini tau! Kejis lah! KEJI sangat! Memalukan aje. I prefer Elaine Daily's body, Ariana Teoh... mana pi habis all those body beautiful beauty queens? Asal Malaysia macam nih!!!!!!!!

The Worst Answer in Miss Universe 2004 interview session: Miss MALAYSIA, AGAIN! - The question yang telah disoal oleh Miss Universe 2003, Amelia Vega, was... "If you could choose a person to rule this planet, who would you choose and why?" and our lovely Miss Malaysia went and answered... "I choose Dr. Mahathir because he very honest and very brave man. He not afreaid to scold the US President. If his deputy commit sodomy he will get the police chief to wallop him. He always tell us we are the best. Malaysia Boleh!" - HELLO!?!?!? What was that all about???????????????

Ladies and gentlemen, I doubt I would ever get that chance to choose who is the right person to rule this planet earth, and even if I did get that chance, I wouldn't choose anybody for I am not qualified enough to pick anyone to rule this planet - and besides, everybody is a great leader - is a matter of finding the best and I guess am not in that state of position to choose the best for I am just another normal human being. I think I would make a better Miss Malaysia dari si Andrea tu, kan? Ehehehe - maaaaaaaati la mek! Fefetz dan teteques itiew mana mau carik!? The real Miss Universe pageant does not allow contestants with fake boobies you know... LOL! EHEHEHEHEH!!!

ONCE UPON A TIME, I WAS THAT SHOWGIRL - Episode 10


From the last episode... Episode 9: Mengorak langkah... MISS WORLD 2002

The minute they announced Miss Colombia into the final 10.


So kalau rezeki mek tak der di Miss World, kat mana pulak dah? Perjalanan nak jadi showgirl nih, bukan senang ek? Or should I say, perjalanan nak jadik Ratu? Hmmm - well - since kiteorang nih insan 'special' insan 'ketiga' - I guess the world of Ratu also falls under the SHOWGIRL'S LIFE- so ape jadi pada kiew lepas tragisnya dua kali bertanding dua kali dapat 1st runner-up??? Org berkata2, yerrrr masih. Org mengutuk- yerrr masih. Orang memuji- sudahhhh mula berkembang. Eheheheh. Tapi still, ke mana pulak mek lepas tu? Takkan that's it jer? Tu baru April 2002??? Hmmm - what happens next, was this- A BIG STEP mek amik lepas pada Miss World 2002 itu. I ventured into something yang I sendiri didn't expected... ape ek? Tunggu lah kat "Once upon a time I was that Showgirl"- Episode 10 (CONFIRM!!! Sampai Part 20 pun mek tak sure leh habis ke idak this story! HARUS NZ MAKAN HATI, KAN KAN KAN NZ KAN KAN KAN!?!?!? Ehehehe - maaati la kau, MyO-QOI! (Haiyoh! Sempat promosi nih! Mek suke mek suke!!!!)

Muke sentap Miss Colombia dapat 1st Runner-up - AGAIN! Ehehehehe...


Episode 10: I once said...

I once said I do not wish to further my studies in Accountancy and Finance - what happened? I earned a degree.

I once said I do not wish to enjoy nightlife so much when travelling abroad - ado? Nan ado! Asalkan sampai London, tanduk sudah keluar dikepala. Asal sampai ke Amsterdam, Red District, here I come! Ehehehehe.

I once said I will never apply make ups (even so be it just shinning lip gloss) on my face - How? Day time also bibir dah macam spastic; muncung jer sebab penuh lipgloss yang hampir meleleh bagaikan air liur bebudak bayi itiew...

I once said I will not be in drag, full - semidrag would do - in the end? Amacam? Itu drag full complete siap buat show tube dress jatuh sudah nampak itu puting pon sudah buat!

And...

I once said I will only be competing with gayboys in drags (since I am one too) - and not in a million years will I compete with 'kakak2 seniors' (full time drags queens/ post ops or pre ops) - dan alkisahnye bermulanya... disini..........

Right after Miss World; my strunggles to bring the name up, thus enjoy the things I enjoy doing at that time (goodbye semidrags and "hello" "welcome" "hie" to full time gayboy in drag) - goin' out as a dragqueen in full (gayboy edition) continued. Although me stopped performing, still - goin' out in drag whenever I had the time, kire, macam, MESTI punye la. Ehehehe - be it just pegi ke Bukit Bintang or Budak Biru Club ke ape ke - janji, drag. And the name (mine) eventually went up sikit, hari demi hari... sampai lah I was convienced to masuk Miss Superdiva 2002.

I got to know Mak Ayam Noreen (Mak ayam is like, guardian lah for some newbies and stuffs - these ppl will teach, guide and so forth) through a friend, and it seemed that Mak Ayam Noreen was Zarina's mak ayam (Zarina was that dearly Miss Spain who won Miss World 2002 - yang I got second tu ler). And so after sembang tu sembang nih - baru ku tahu, baru ke kenal 'arti' Beauty Pageants....

Beauty pageants in KL nih ade two types; one is for Transgenders (gayboys in drag who drags part-time) and the other one is for Transsexuals (Pre-ops and post-ops drag queens; who lives like a girl 24-7...) So anyways, the last 3 contests yang I competed tu were for transgenders only. And this upcoming Superdiva, is for transsexuals. Now how can that be? Am not a transsexual - how can I compete?

Well you see now - for transgender contests, the ground rule is that the contestants must be a transgender - and those transsexuals tak dibenarkan compete as, kalau diaorang compete jugak - you know what it means? Sah sah diaorang lagi cantik dan have all the advantages in the world - sebab diaorang dah memang like girls - so? Go figure. Tapi, for transsexual competitions, transgenders are allowed to compete - but in order to win, damn you have to be REALLLY pretty to beat all those yang dah 24-7 pre/post op drags. Dan selalunye, jarang lah nak tgk transgenders akan bertanding dengan transsexuals - only those yang berani mampos dan nak commit suicide jer dibenarkan masuk. Paham dak? I hope I dah buat explaination yang akan memudahkan u ols paham - kalau tak paham2 jugak, tanye je kat COMMENT area tu nah? Ehehehehe...

So anyways - NO, waktu tu, I wasn't that keen and crazy to compete with these 24-7 drags dalam Superdiva tu. Namun, for EXPERIENCES sake, ku sanggup jugak merelakan diri nak bertanding.... like, sudah bersedia, nak gali lubang kubs sendiri la kirenye... maaaaati la mek!

"You can't go out there on your own - you're gonna need some help..."

That's what Mak Ayam Noreen told me each time I gi jumpe dia at her apartment in Sunway. And after explaining this and that, pasal itu ini, so that I yang dah sediakala confused nih gets even more confused, kan, so that's when - I was introduced, to the legendary... Shasha Penang...

So this is Shasha dikala waktu 'biasa' - tidak gemar bermake up pada waktu2 biasa; kecuali during shows ataupun pageants/ contests. Samer ke Shasha nih dengan mek? Tak kan? Tu la pasal - mek also dinch hui kenapasal org cakap muka mek sama ngan muka dia. Isk... Anyways, sah sah lah dia lagi der vast - natural woman dah! Kan? Mek nih jer yang terpaksa bertempek bedak 10 kati baru nak cantik; tu pun, cantik ke? Dinch! Eheheheh...


I think I've mentioned Shasha's name in one of my earlier episode - Shasha was one of the best showgirls and beauty queens in town - jarang kalau masuk pertandingan dan kalah. Dia selalunye ade placing dan she's definitely, one of a kind. Some say nothing so special about her, but I see a lot of qualities in her. Some say dia 'azab' bile dia biase2, try looking at her when she's up on stage! Va va voommm!

So- getting to know this beauty queen was so so so interesting - not only she let me see her boyform pics (PS- she dah 24-7 post-op drag queen dah... selamat dan successful now, in London) but she also very der tak kedekut ilmu, turunkan secrets steps catwalk, how to pose - gave ideas about dresses and what not. Waktu dedekat contest Superdiva tu, I remembered ulang alik ke umah Shasha Penang in Cheras, fitting dress lah (dress telah disponsor penuh oleh Shasha Penang herself; dan dia honestly jarang nak kasik to adik2 gayboys, normally dia kasik sewa to pre and post op drag queens only - tapi tetiber jer, dia nak mek pakai her dresses; note, bukan sewa ek, sponsor! Mek sungguh terharu time itiew... dan.. yer - SELAMAT la duit mek sikit! Ehehehe... ) dan oleh kerana kekerapan jumpe Shasha lah, gossip/ khabar angin baru telah diwar2kan....

"Lady Loreal tu now dah jadi anak ayam Shasha Penang...."

True enough, Shasha memang took me as her anak ayam but she prefers to let the relationship be like kakak and adik - sweet dan sooo down to earth kan dia? And dari situ la munculnye Lea Laurielle - idea bernas Shasha Penang. We became very close (even after the pageant tu) and I always enjoyed her company and vise versa; by then - she banyak kenalkan me to other 'kakak2' drag queens (when I say kakak2 nih, paham2 aje lah - those with boobies, feferinaz 'post ops' - basically lives the life of a girl 24-7) around town - Pasha (Shasha's housemate), Sherryn, and others. Tapi, its like, by becoming Shasha Penang's anak ayam (who so happens to look like the mak ayam when in drag), indirectly ppl talks and when ppl talk - that's when my name ade itu commercial value siket. Tapi I was like, either SEGAN or TAKUT nak approach these peeps - and when I don't smile, my face dah jadi itu macam 'masham' la sikit dan TERUS orang chop "Lady Loreal KEKWAT"!!! (Kekwat means sombong)- Tapi time after time I kept on saying that its just my facial expression jer, and stuffs - tak kenal maka tak cinta, kan? Ehehehehe....

Bergaya dengan dress yang dikeji sebagai "Dress bermaterialkan kain curtain" di malam semifinals Superdiva 2002 - Keji kan kutukkan melampau itiew? Adddee ke diaorang kate kain dress mek seperti kain curtain? Isk isk isk... sentap! Ehehehehe...


Time yang always envies us - terbang pantas, passing our lives so cepat sampaikan we tak realize pon masa dah berlalu. The Superdiva pageant went well (di pageant itu lah jugak I got a lot of new friends, a lot!) - although I became the one and only finalist in the top 10 who is a gayboy dragqueen, competing against 9 other full fledge drag queens, - still - it was definitely one of the best experiences of my life which I thought I WOULD NEVER have. Once I said I will never compete with full fledge drag queens - I ended up winning BEST LEGS award that nite at the Superdivas. REAL KEJUTAN TERGUMPAR!! Eheheh - but overall, I didn't expected anything - not even placing any hopes into getting into the top 5 (which I eventually memang tak dapat pon.. just the one time sub-title jer malam tu - jaaaaaaaaaaadi la, kan? Best legs woooo! Sapa mau cellen!?!?!?!)

Wajah gumbira di malam finals; though only placed top 10, but still - I won BEST LEGS! Hip hip, hurraay!!! Waktu tu I was so happy that night, dan jgn ditanye lah how happy the KJ girls were that night, yang datang malam tu memberi support kepada the only gayboy dragqueen yang managed to get into the top 10 finals. Bagai nak meletop China Blues Club Pearl Point International Hotel malam tu. Ehehehe...


Owh! Dan actually - di contest Superdiva nih la.... pengalaman PERTAMA mek memakai swimsuit!!!! IN PUBLIC! GOD! Malunye time tu - kepitan dinch melerts lagi, very der takut sangkak tau. Terpaksa amik kain dan buat ikatan ala ala pario gittu... bole? Org lain semua dengan bangganye menunjuk2 either kepitan mampanz bagaikan c*pap tembam, ataupun dengan rela hati menunjukkan cikpuks bedahan beribu2 itu, persis fefetz betul perempuan. Mekkkkk jer coverline - kezis... Pun begitu, Shasha said mek tak perlu risau - my name musti dalam top 10 dan eventually, true enuff, I was selected into the top 10 and then won myself a subsidiary title which Shasha said...

"Bagus la tu dik. Percubaan pertama jer, dah dapat top 10, dan menang Best Legs... syukur lah dik!" Gittuuuuu katanye. Ehehehehe...

Kekwat kan muka mek??? Very der masam like the cuka, kan? No lah - actually, time tu I was like feeling supermodel MALU sebab had to be in a swimsuit! Thank God it was a one piece; kalau two-piece, THAT'S IT!! This was during the heat-rounds of the Superdiva Beauty Contest 2002 - which I made it through quite unexpectedly. Ehehehehe...


Frankly speaking - that event bebetul will forever terpahat dalam hati mek - becoz so many things happened sebelum, semasa dan selepas dari Superdiva Beauty Contest 2002 itiew. And the 'later things' that happened in my life, yang akan membuatkan this story gets lebih intense dan lebih interesting. So, hmmm, ape lagi yang berlaku in 2002 ek? Ahhh... yes! He left it where he knew she would find it. The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM. Wake up."

Bling Blings - Diamonds; Latest entry...



Diamonds, a girls best friend? I totally agree. Well, maybe ia tak apply to all girls but most girls - bling2? Memang sepadan... I mean, who can deny? Siape yang tak tertarik dengan diamonds, blings2 here and there, right or not? Take one fine example - me. Ehehehe - cannot la run away from minat dengan diamonds - be it real ke fake ke (fake pon kena lah yang tak pecah lobang sngt. To me, biar fake, murah - as long as it looks good on ya... kan??)



Diamonds nih - I'd say, bukannye utk women only - Men pon ade yang crave for diamonds tau. Tak true? Aiseh - white diamonds, kat cincin silver, for men, kan ala ala dah jadik trend for some men, kannn? Kan? Eheheh - So you see, diamonds nih are like - wow... shinning2nye saje, leh pukau mata those yang gilekan diamonds, tul tak? Bukan sekadar utk wedding ring for women - men pon, ade jugak accessories for men yang ade diselitkan diamonds - like, cincin (very obvious and fine example la kan) - jam, even ade gak men yang pakai those small2 diamond stud earings, kan? Tapi for men - major diamond accessories would either be diaorang punye ring or watch, tu je? Rolex for men pon, ade yang diamond filled also what, kan? Rado another brand yang rajin guna diamonds lah, ruby la. Ehehhe.. macam macam ado... :)



Soalnye ori ke idak - I guess that terpulangla kepada sipemakai. Like I said, contoh, me, I don't care real ke tidak - murah ke ape - so long as it looks good on me and me feels comfy with it (no alah or ape2 to white diamonds ke silver ke ape ke) - that's all that matters...



But sometimes its amazing to see different types/ cuts of diamonds available nowadays, kan? Meriah sangat bling2 hasil ciptaan designers - dan sekarang dresses pon yang banyak gunakan diamond. It wouldn't be too much to say that - diamonds, tak akan pudar dek zaman, kan? :)

So anyways - tema entry kali ini ialah diamonds. Tapi motif entry ini dipublish? Ontah la labu. I'd say only becoz I wanted to promo about my latest entry kat my fotopages.com - Just the other day, me went shopping with my sis-in-law and both of us stopped at this fancy jewellery shop, ala ala macam Bonita la gittu. And seeing all those blings2, I just couldn't help myself - keluarkan hp mek slow2, and started snapping pix; Yes, very der modal pakai amik jer for my fotopages, ehehehehe. Tapi tak per - at least, ade lah entry jugak for today. ITU mek rase motif entry nih - pakai tangkap buat jer entry sebab nak kasik ade jugak entry for the day. Ehehehehehe....

Coming back to the harga issue - see these collections of pix I took? Walaupun most of it tak der lah cecah beribus2, but still - who can deny the fact that these jewelleries are like, wow! Melerts la jugak! Teringaaaat zaman2 dok peraga diamonds kehulur kehilir lepas balik dari show ke clubbing ke ape ke.... Antara khidmat2 kejian dan cacihina yang diterima...

"Haiiii Laurielle - show dah habis, takkan kat kedai minum pon nak peragaankan diamonds kot?"

Annoucement for the day - and for the rest of the weekend! Ehehehe



Dearest all...

Just a few more minutes before Saturday arrives - yes, another day. Nothing much to be said for Friday - yes, another boring Friday, and busy Friday too - busy with family reunion and stuff. So I haven't got much time to do anything. In fact, in this entry, I would like to let everybody know, that...
  • I will be extremely busy from today till Monday; like I said, family reunion and stuff. So that leaves me no time to do tagboard chatting ke, blog updating ke ape ke - till Monday. Although, I might just update at least an entry, something simple - just to fill up the day. I tannak my blog contains a date which has no entry, at all. Dinch u ols! Record mek, EVERYDAY mek buat update. So - no excuses this time also. See, infact, today itself pon, nih baru selesai day 1 of the gathering thingie. Esok, day 2...haiii.. sabo jer la. So anyways, tonight, mek tetap feel nak kena buat blog entry - at least today, ade gak la modal. I wonder what my modal would be esok ek? Hurmmmmm....

ONCE UPON A TIME, I WAS THAT SHOWGIRL - Episode 9

From the last episode... Episode 8: Kusangkakan cerah panas sampai ke petang, rupa2nya, ado? PETIR!!!

So anyways - I placed second, and I kalah dengan Miss KJ 1999... was I upset!? OF COURSE I WAS!!!!!!! Sentap teramatz! Malu ya amatz! Baru jer menang Miss KJ - terus fall off dapat 1st runner-up? I guess it's true what they say, maintaining the crown in two seperate contests, memang takes a lot of challenges... and apparently, I failed to maintain 2 straight wins. Well - 1st runner-up pon, jaaaadi lah for that night, sebab, I was geared up for another contest, coming in April.

Episode 9: Mengorak langkah... MISS WORLD 2002

Well, after kalah kat Supermodel Of The Year itiew - tak per, sounded jer kalah - tapi sebenarnye, menang. Menang lagu mana? Menang dari segi nama naik. Cam mana? Yang menang tu org tak perkatakan pon, sebaliknya yang dapat number dua nih jugak yang org sebut2? How? Puji? Dak aih! Sapa kata bab bab puji. Mengeji lah!

Antara paparan2 menarik sajian "keji" dari rakyat jelata PLU dan Nyahs in KL terhadap mek yang tak berdusa...

"Lady Laurielle (which I KNOW they pronounced it as LoreaL) kalah Supermodel hari tu? Yer ke? Bukan dia baru menang Miss KJ? Keji lah - buat malu jer..."

"Haiyoh! Itu Loreal ah! Salah concept lah waktu evening dress. Ape dia pikir, contest tu contest MISS beauty pageant ke? Lenggoknye haiyoh... mengalahkan Ratu - Salah pentas la dia malam tu! Sah sah itu pertandingan Supermodel - nyeh, dia tak layak even dapat 1st runner-up"

"Haiyoh... sudah hilang kerete selepas masuk Miss KJ; lepas masuk Supermodel minggu lepas, dia hilang ape pulak noq?"

"Lady Loreal? Owhhhhh ... yang dapat number dua Supermodel tu ke? Yang ala ala jawab q/a serupa mau pergi interview steward MAS tu ke? Sedeh lah nyeh dia tu..."

"Mek tgk lepas contest ala ala sentap jer muka? Kenape dengan dia tu nyeh, tak leh terima kekalahan ke?"

"Lady Loreal... who?????"

Yesssss! Itu lah antara paparan2 menarik sejurus selepas contest Supermodel itiew. Although I felt a bit down la kan, being second (1st Runner-up) in my second contest, I felt like, tah lah - ditambah selit melit pulak dengan suara2 merdu lunak lahanatz2 around town pasal mek - I felt - urgh! Bertambah lah sentap. Tapi someone sedarkan mek - Yes, Along. He said...

"Biar lah diaorang cakap ape2 pun Anjang... Biarkan diaorang ngutuk ngumpat Anjang - janji Anjang tak kaco diaorang, kan? Jeles jer diaorang tu. Tapi look at this the positive way - they (the people around town) talked about u, infact, according to Cik Ngah, kat BB tu, they STILL talk about you. So if I were you, I'd feel honored, ppl STILL talks about you (biarpun MOST of the things ppl talked about tu were like shits la kan.. tapi, sabaq jer la deknon!)... so I think when they go on and on mengutuk mengumpat mengeji you ala ala at the same time, Along rase la, nama Anjang sure naik. Yer lah, ppl kept on talking about you jer?"

Along had a point - but then again I felt like, tah lah.. urgh! I don't like it lah - haaa senang citer. Mek tak suke lah cam tu... Tapi terpikir jugak mek kengkadang when I'm alone ke ape ke - cam nih ke kehidupan diva ke, showgirl ke, yang org cemburui? Org akan kata kutuk hina caci semua tu? Hmmm - kalau nak jadi diva, nak kena lalui semua nih, haiyoh! Mak tak sanggups u ols! TAK SANGGUP!

Tak sanggup pi tak sanggup mai - by Mac, the whole town was talking about it - MISS WORLD 2002!!! By then, mek yang dah really rapat dengan gang KJ, beriya2 nih nak gi for that contest. And I was like, majorly, the talked of the groups yang masuk, surroundings, semue, to win that title. Berangan, riak, feeling - YOU NAME IT! Ape yang mek tak der! Semue mek ade! Time tu berkobar2 nak menang. I remembered spending nearly RM1000 JUST for my evening dress - gi buat dress kat Gavin Designs dengan Viviana (bebudak geng KJ also- dia pun sama sakan buat dress ngan mek kat Gavin tu... )

Kali nih Along pulak akan make up kan mek - konsep? You see, when Along sentuh my face for Miss KJ - I WON. So hopefully, this time, sentuhan Along akan 'menyengat' dan buatkan mek menang Miss World 2002! Angah tak sentap - it was clearly my choice siape yang mek nak make upkan my face. Angah was cool about it - siap datang support gile2 mek malam tu.

This is Along - yang telah mencantikkan mek sesimple2 alam! MEK SUKE MEK SUKE!


Yeap - I picked a South American country, COLOMBIA! Tah kenape - tapi, South American countries kan memang well known to send reps yang va va voom! So mek waktu tu kan BERANGAN meletop. SO dgn sedap dan senang hati pilih to represent COLOMBIA dengan nama yang begitiew... erm... tah la... Laurielle Santiago Perez - cam mana tu? Laurielle memang maintained - but where did that SANTIAGO PEREZ came from!?!?!? Kejiz....

Ok ok so I got into the top 10... so? Eheheh - expected what.... ehehe (riak lagi tu! Mati la aku! Ehehehehe....)

So bertanding pi bertanding mai - this time, crowd was definitely on my side - mek confidensi boleh menang malam tu. MEMANG! Sahih! PASTI!

Lepas dah into the top 10, ade q and a, pastu this and that, and then, results - First up, subsidiary titles. Kemenangan title MISS WORLD malam tu memang mek jangkakan!!! Memang dah di dalam genggaman tangankiew - apatah lagi setelah 2 subsidiary title yang punting (bukan PUTING ek but PENTING) telah mek cekup...
  • Miss Intelligent
  • Miss Natural Beauty

Dah... isn't that what Miss World is all about? Brains, blessed with good looks? (Haiyoh! Maaati la mek kena maki lagi nih - feeling lagik! Ehehehe...)

Haiyoh! Mek nak balik body cam itiew!! Perut tarak! Huwaaargghh! Sentap!


Yeap - itu la dia... Miss World 2002, Miss... SPAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (TIDAK!!!!!!) I GOT 1st runner-up - YES, AGAIN!

Yes peeps! Malang sunggoh naseb beta - jawapan top 10 q, first classs!!! (kalau nak compared dengan jawapan si pemenang tu la - of course lah! Kalau idak, takkan mek menang Miss Intelligent? Maaaati la ko Miss G!!!) - dah la tu, yang si pemenang tu,.... isk.. erm... no komen lah please. But cameraman semue, u're most welcome to snap my pix... ooppss!? Lari tema - (Mek dinch la mau komen lelebih pasal pemenang Miss World 2002 itiew...- walaupun bukannye kawan rapat sangat tapi, tetap, dia kawan kepada kawan kepada kawan mek! Ehehehehe- Tannak lah! Nanti molot jahat mek nih diburuk sangka dan terus mek dicop sebagai a bad person who makes world a bad place to live in... kan LeeZ kan kan kan!?!?!?!?! Maati la aku!)

So ape lagik, HANGIN LAGIK la mek!!!! Skepulasi sana skepulasi sini - but kali nih, I had the crowd supporting mek. Diaorang macam agreed I should have been the winner - not that Miss Spain. Tapi AFTER a while (tak der lah awhile as in REALLY awhile; awhile ala ala sebulan dua kot) I learned to face the fact that, malam tu - rezeki Miss Spain itiew, dan bukan mek. Tak mengaper... its ok...

So kalau rezeki mek tak der di Miss World, kat mana pulak dah? Perjalanan nak jadi showgirl nih, bukan senang ek? Or should I say, perjalanan nak jadik Ratu? Hmmm - well - since kiteorang nih insan 'special' insan 'ketiga' - I guess the world of Ratu also falls under the SHOWGIRL'S LIFE - so ape jadi pada kiew lepas tragisnya dua kali bertanding dua kali dapat 1st runner-up??? - Org berkata2, yerrrr masih. Org mengutuk - yerrr masih - orang memuji - sudahhhh mula berkembang. Eheheheh. Tapi still, ke mana pulak mek lepas tu? Takkan that's it jer? Tu baru April 2002??? Hmmm - what happens next, was this - A BIG STEP mek amik lepas pada Miss World 2002 itu. I ventured into something yang I sendiri didn't expected... ape ek? Tunggu lah kat "Once upon a time I was that Showgirl" - Part 10! (CONFIRM!!! Sampai Part 20 pun mek tak sure leh habis ke idak this story! HARUS NZ MAKAN HATI, KAN KAN KAN NZ KAN KAN KAN!?!?!?
