Al Fatihah to my late Uncle... Amin
Dearest all, Assalamualaikum...
AL FATIHAH TO MY LATE UNCLE WHO DIED EARLY THIS MORNING - MOGA ALLAH MENCUCURI RAHMAT SERTA MENEMPATKANNYA DIKALANGAN ORANG2 BERIMAN DI SYURGA... AMIN
I guess in life, memang betul apa org katakan - things happened for a reason. But sometimes we don't know what the reasons are, but it still happened...
After the "happy hoo haa" mood last night, that was posting my 'welcome to my party entry - first mishap happened - something went wrong with my pc. Then my browser went kaput - so decided to head to bed early so that I could wake up early and be the first here at my blog especially at my tagboard...
Then at 3am- electric tak der, the whole neighbourhood. Memang panas gile. Since mommy and mak tok tak menjenguk, I decided to sleep in my car. While berbaring kat seat belakang with my pillows, I terfikir sejenak - "Tadik sebelum tidur, waktu dok online, happy nih! Pastu one thing to another... hmmm betul la kata org2 tua - jgn happy2 sangat kang pasti ade something menyedihkan berlaku" Even malam tadik pun I was like laughing and laughing like nobody's business with a friend over the phone. So I thought, pc hang, browser buat hal, and no electric tu la "bende sedeh" yang berlaku. TAPI SEBALIKNYA....
My uncle passed away...
I got the shocking news after Subuh this morning, somewhere around 7.45am, waktu tgh breakfast dengan Mak Tok - my mom came crying to my granny. I panic kejap - wanted to know what happened sampai my mom crying macam tu sekali kat pangkuan my granny. Otak I dah mula melayang2, could it be BAPAK? Something wrong/ happened to him? Or Could it be my brothers?... MAMA, WHAT IS ALL THIS!?!?
It seemed that after my mom told me my uncled died in his sleep, I soon found out that my mom PALING rapat with this uncle of mine, so considered ABANG to my mom. I wasn't devastated sangat since I wasn't close with Arwah uncle I but I was a bit saddened tgk my mom. Time after time nak nangis - although I told her not to sbb it's not good, and forever will never be good to cry utk yang dah pergi. Allah lebih sayangkan dia... I kept telling my mom...
By 8am, semua dah gerak pergi ke rumah my uncle. Ade some relatives yang memang nak ke Alor Star from KBR (remember that I told you these family's visit from KBR to AOR is/was one of the reason why I decided to stay at home and tannak gi keje) - well, they came just in time and terus ke majlis bacaan Tahlil dan pengkebumian.
Kat kenduri, or so it seemed like one, kat umah my late uncle - the family was so calmed about it. I was REALLY shocked to look at my auntie and her 3 grandchildren, senyum and bercakap2 as if nothing happened. My cousins were like ok with it - dengan diaorang punye respective wives/husbands - suasana kat rumah taklekang dengan bacaan Yassin - still, I was STILL amazed tgk the keluarga, SIKIT pun tak menangiskan setitik air mata diatas pemergian arwah. Ya Allah - TABAH dan CEKAL sungguh keluarga arwah ini. Sungguh I cannot believe my eyes. Although ade something happened kat majlis tu sebelum nak ke tanah perkuburan...
Arwah's wife kena tengking maki hamun during the majlis, boleh? By siape? Ade lah - ahli keluarga sebelah arwah...
"Kau nih kenapa ha! Laki mati, ko sikit tak titiskan air mata! KO tak sedeh ke!?"
"Nampak SANGAT ko tgh bahagia nak dapat harta2 dia kan!?!?!"
"Ko nih apasal ha - laki ko baru mati! Sekurang2nya kalau ko hadapkan harta arwah, jgn la tunjuk ko tu sikit tak sedeh. Bodoh!"
OH MY GOD Memang terkejut ok. MEMANG drama - that was from my auntie, yang MEMANG MJ*mulut jahat* dan tak sukekan my arwah's wife. But lets not get into detail lah sangat pasal semua nih. Just nak share, yang manusia nih macam2 ragam, even waktu2 sedeh macam nih. Tergamak nih? My auntie yang memaki itiew tak sedarke, arwah uncle I punye wife tu tak nangis setitik haram air mata tu, tandanya, dia TABAH meniti keadaan? Dia tak sedarke arwah's wife tu tak sedeh sbb dia sedar, SEDEH dan TANGISI si arwah tak der gunanya dan tak baik serta tak elok dan tak digalakkan? Tsk tsk tsk - for me, my arwah uncle's wife tu, CUKUP tabah dan cekal melalui saat2 cam tu. Who knows she was crying INSIDE? Kan? Dilindungi wajah ceria, senyuman itu, di nangis di dalam? Siapa yang tahu? Hanya DIA yang maha mengetahui, Allah SWT.
So at around 10am, maka dengan sempurnalah telah dikebumikan mayat arwah uncle I di tanah perkuburan Islam Derga. Sayu jer suasana disitu - reminded me that setiap insan pasti kembali kepadaNya... I had the chance to taburkan bunga dan siramkan kubur dengan air yassin on behalf of my mom, yang tak dapat nak do it, sbb dia kata kalau dia buat, air yassin tu nanti nampak sikit jer satu jug kalau nak compare ngan air mata dia yang non-stop nangis. Poor mommy. My dad waktu nih I think dah on his way balik dah kot. Wanted to fly back, flight lambat. Tgh hari karang baru ade flight. So he and his driver balik tadik pagi kot, drive... Selamatkan la Bapak aku tu pulak... biarlah dia selamat sampai/tiba kat AS nih... :)
*SIGH* I don't know lah.... hari tu pun my another uncle baru passed away. Sekarang nih, kesian tgk my granny. I know dia lagi sedeh sbb anak2 dia semua one by one nak tinggalkan dia tapi dia? I know dalam otak dia tu sedeh sbb dia yang patutnye pergi dulu tapi instead, anak2 dia. Macam2 lah akanbermain dalam otak/pikiran mak tok aku tu. Bukannye aku tak tahu, tapi as we know, THINGS happened for a reason. Mak tok is still alive, maybe ade hikmah. Mak tok masih sihat? :) Tak bererti Tuhan tak amik nyawa maktok, meaning Tuhan tak sayangkan mak tok? Kan peeps?
Oh well - enough sorrow lah for one morning. I'm doin' ok, despite terkejut tgk my mom nangis bagai nak gile and tgk that little drama "kakak ipar dimaki adik perempuan arwah"- ITU memang mak terkejut tgk. Waktu reception lagi tu! Haiyoh - arwah masih terbaring lagik, masih penuh asap kemenyian dalam rumah dan arwah masih belum dikebumikan, dah si adik memaki hamun kakak ipar... MasyaAllah - Ape la nak jadik? Nih kes HARTA la nihs... tsk tsk tsk.
Kawan2 - sama2 lah we sedekahkan Surah Al-Fatihah to my late uncle ya? Biarlah roh arwah uncle I dicucui rahmat serta dilindungi, dan Allah menempatkan arwah bersama orang2 yang beriman, amal soleh, dan berada di Syurga Firdausi.... Amin amin Ya Rabbana A'lamin....

So peeps, its free-flow chattin' hours now. Party started just now, at 00:00:01hrs, till later tonight, at 23:59:59hrs... Hehehe - I'll be here, now and then, selagi mampu berjaga. Esok, eh, I mean, later, me won't be goin' to work kot - sbb ade some family hals, so me amik kesempatan itiew utk skip gi keje and just stay put at home, depan pc *seboleh-bolehnye lah kan* dan above all, attending to my tagboard. Hehehe.
I'm still promoting the page, not to mention the party. The tagboard chatparty nih hanya lah sekadar promosi/ marketing strategy utk meramaikan lah ppl datang to my page...

The International Queen Pageant 2005
Dearest all... NEXT- I bring you... The International Queen Pageant 2005
Yes, and so it seems like another pageant. What can I say, what can I do? Memang sekarang nih beauty pageants are like, hmmm, ape tu, ala... ape org cakap tu, 'tumbuh bagaikan cendawan'? Haaaa - yes, tumbuh bagaikan cendawan gittiew... Muieueieueieu - well to me, contests like these are very healthy, dari kite, erm, well... you know? Kan?
I know I know - sometimes contests nih makan banyak masa in preparing, duit budget lagi la itu la ini - but to think of it that way, then, you won't enjoy the pageant lah kalau you're competing. Talking from experience digelar "Miss tak serik- serik"; asal ade beauty contest jer, asyik muke nihhh aje yang masuk, well - I KNOW when we talk about endless preps and budget pasal money and time. True, tapi, kalau dah ade semangat dan keinginan, why stop?
So we all know that recently baru jer berlangsung Miss Universe World 2005. Belum sempat nak reda, dengar khabar ade lagi Miss World 2005, which will be organized by the famous Sharmilla Entertainment. But am not here to talk about that - not just yet la kan. Ehehe - This entry is for the purpose of promoting one of my friends' pageant project, his first ever, The International Queen Pageant 2005.
Yer yer, I know that the banner and the heading reads The International Queen Pageant 2005, but the link leads u to www.qoi2005.cjb.net, tapi basically bende tu sama jer. Nak tahu kenapa tunggang langgang tungging tebalik namanye, kena lah tanye organzier itiew. Tapi bagi pendapat mek lah, I think, it's the same. I received this forwarded email just now in my hotmail account... tah macam mana leh dapat dari hamba Allah yang mek sendiri dinch kenal. Tapi apa apa pun I think this email memang bagus - mengajar us some stuffs about Rasulullah's petua tidur, which some ade yang kite praktikkan and which is tak digalakkan dan tak baik dibuat - so meh kite sama2 renung tenung dan baca email nih.

untuk tidur.Sekiranya dia tidur mengikut Sunnah Rasullullah saw, maka tidurnya akan jadi ibadat.Allah swt hanya akan terima ibadat yang dilakukan dengan ikhlas.Tidur adalah ibadat
yang paling ikhlas. Seseorang tidak perlu dipaksa atau terpaksa untuk tidur.Ganjaran Allah swt untuk orang yang amalkan Sunnah sangat besar.Satu Sunnah yang diamalkan berterusan akan diberi ganjaran 100 pahala mati syahid, sedangkan satu pahala mati syahid sudah cukup untuk menjamin seseorang untuk masuk syurga. Di dalam tidur sendiri ada banyak Sunnah.Sebaliknya, jika seseorang tidur cara selain dari cara Nabi SAW,dia hanya akan dapat kerehatan.Kalau bernasib baik, selama 20 tahun mungkin dia dapat mengumpul 20 kilo tahi mata dan menakung 20 liter atau lebih air liur basi.
Antara Sunnah-sunnah Nabi saw sebelum, ketika dan selepas tidur.
1. Sebelum dan selepas tidur baca doa tidur. Ramai orang memperlekehkan doa
Masnun (doa harian) tapi hakikatnya harga yang Allah swt janjikan adalah syurga.
2. Jangan tidur menghadap kaki arah Qiblat. Ini adalah kedudukan tidur
orang yang telah mati.
3. Barangsiapa yang membaca Tasbih Fatimah, sekiranya dia mati malam
itu,dia akan dikira sebagai mati syahid. Apa itu Tasbih Fatimah?
Subhanallah 33 X, Alhamdulillah 33 X, Allahuakbar 33 X.
4. Baca 4 Qul tiup ke tapak tangan dan sapu keseluruh badan untuk
menghindarkan sihir dan niat jahat manusia.
5. Niat untuk bangun Tahajjud. Sekiranya tidak terjaga, Allah swt akan
mengira seolah-olah dia bertahajjud sepanjang malam. Tahajjud adalah
sebaik-baik p elindung daripada sihir dan buatan orang.
6. Ambil wudhu sebelum tidur dan Solat Sunat Taubat 2 rakaat.
7. Maafkan semua kesalahan manusia pada kita dan halalkan semua hutang
piutang sebelum tidur.Bangun tidur boleh buka fail semula kalau mahu.
8. Tidur cara Rasulullah saw dengan mengiring badan ke kanan dan tapak
tangan di bawah pipi.

untuk tidur.Sekiranya dia tidur mengikut Sunnah Rasullullah saw, maka tidurnya akan jadi ibadat.Allah swt hanya akan terima ibadat yang dilakukan dengan ikhlas.Tidur adalah ibadat
yang paling ikhlas. Seseorang tidak perlu dipaksa atau terpaksa untuk tidur.Ganjaran Allah swt untuk orang yang amalkan Sunnah sangat besar.Satu Sunnah yang diamalkan berterusan akan diberi ganjaran 100 pahala mati syahid, sedangkan satu pahala mati syahid sudah cukup untuk menjamin seseorang untuk masuk syurga. Di dalam tidur sendiri ada banyak Sunnah.Sebaliknya, jika seseorang tidur cara selain dari cara Nabi SAW,dia hanya akan dapat kerehatan.Kalau bernasib baik, selama 20 tahun mungkin dia dapat mengumpul 20 kilo tahi mata dan menakung 20 liter atau lebih air liur basi.
Antara Sunnah-sunnah Nabi saw sebelum, ketika dan selepas tidur.
1. Sebelum dan selepas tidur baca doa tidur. Ramai orang memperlekehkan doa
Masnun (doa harian) tapi hakikatnya harga yang Allah swt janjikan adalah syurga.
2. Jangan tidur menghadap kaki arah Qiblat. Ini adalah kedudukan tidur
orang yang telah mati.
3. Barangsiapa yang membaca Tasbih Fatimah, sekiranya dia mati malam
itu,dia akan dikira sebagai mati syahid. Apa itu Tasbih Fatimah?
Subhanallah 33 X, Alhamdulillah 33 X, Allahuakbar 33 X.
4. Baca 4 Qul tiup ke tapak tangan dan sapu keseluruh badan untuk
menghindarkan sihir dan niat jahat manusia.
5. Niat untuk bangun Tahajjud. Sekiranya tidak terjaga, Allah swt akan
mengira seolah-olah dia bertahajjud sepanjang malam. Tahajjud adalah
sebaik-baik p elindung daripada sihir dan buatan orang.
6. Ambil wudhu sebelum tidur dan Solat Sunat Taubat 2 rakaat.
7. Maafkan semua kesalahan manusia pada kita dan halalkan semua hutang
piutang sebelum tidur.Bangun tidur boleh buka fail semula kalau mahu.
8. Tidur cara Rasulullah saw dengan mengiring badan ke kanan dan tapak
tangan di bawah pipi.

My ex classmate - in CLEO's 50 Most Eligible Bachelors 2005!!!

Yeap. That's true alright! The most talked about contest is back in town. Yes - this one is for real!- no make-believe contest nahh! Ehehe. It's The CLEO 50 Most Eligible Bachelors Of The Year 2005- and MY EX-CLASSMATE'S IN IT!!!!
I just nak highlight sikit pasal si Kayrol nih, candidate number 19!!!
FULL NAME :: Khairul Fadzli Ahmad Faudzi
OCCUPATION :: Mechanical Engineer
DOB :: May 11, 1979
ZODIAC SIGN :: Taurus
HIDDEN TALENTS :: Im able to cook and ride the bicycle backwards.
Dia nih dulu my schoolmate, my classmate but SADLY not my roommate or dormmate for that matter, sedeh...... ehehe - Anyways, we were schooling together back in 1995 and 1996 in Mara Junior Science College Penang / MRSM Balik Pulau. Dia nih started off 'dingin' jer dengan mek, ala aa buat buat tak tahu je kewujudan future beauty queen merangkap bakal pemenang Miss Malaysia in 2003, wakil PENANG lagi... ehehe, and oh and, and, plus, he sort of like didn't even bothered about my existance dalam class apatah lagik dalam MRSM itiew. Chis. Memang bedebah mamat nih! Tapi lama ke lamaan kiteorang baik la jugak, kan Kayrol kan??? Walaupun kengkadang sentap gak ngan pak cik nih. Yer lah, cakap sepatah dia jawab sepatah. Cakap 20 patah also dia jawab sepatah. I guess waktu tu dia tak realized mek cantik kot? HAHAHAH! Tapi apa apa pun, dia nih MEMANG smart, talented, active in his studies and also sports... and also bercintan ok! Very der!!!
Recent years kiteorang punye class ade gaths, so eventually kiteorang *me and Kayrol that is* jadik rapat la jugak waktu bersua muka setelah nearly 5 years lepas left school tak berjumpe, harap berhubung via emails and phonecalls jer. However, lepas reunions, we still keep in touch though through emails and sms. Sms tu mek ngan dia jer lah termasuk phonecalls tu. But emails, well, it was and still is a group email. Satu class participated.
Khairul Fadzli nih baik orangnye. NOT TO MENTION CUTE TOO ok! Very der! Soft spoken, sweet, funny... Last saw him last year kot, last sms him, baru 5 minit lepas, last chatted over the phone, baru lepas 15 minit tadik! Yer, kena la habaq kat dia mek buat entry pasal dia. Tak der lah dia terkujat kalau buatnye dia tgk pic dan profile CLEO dia ada dalam blogpage dragqueen. Eheheh - lagipun dia dah open ngan mek. Eh, MEK dah open dengan dia and he's cool about it. Best la jugak dia nih

I just got a call from the newly crowned MISS WORLD 2005! *1st runner-up to the pageant's main title, MISS UNIVERSE 2005. Yes people, it is with great honor that I annouce the results of last nights MISS UNIVERSE WORLD 2005 pageant held in KL!
***Miss Seychelles (Miss Ginger De La Loca) and Miss Russia (Miss Sara) - two of my friends! YES! They've made it into the top 6 placings! CONGRATULATIONS GIRLS!!!
I got that call from Miss G somewhere around 1am kot - she was happy, I can tell. From the tone of her voice - well, can detect dia memang speechless. Worth it, memang she's worth it.
And as for Miss Sara of RUSSIA - ade ketikanye nak tarik diri, dan dinch confidensi... look where you landed last night? 3rd RUNNER UP and the title holder of MISS INTERNATIONAL 2005? I am so proud of you and you should count your blessings girl, mujur tak tarik diri u ols!!!
Well - I pulak yang over excited. Wish I could have been there to witness the pageant myself. Tapi apo kan daya... :) Cukuplah sekadar I tumpang gembira with kejayaan kawan2. Miss Universe World Pageant 2005
Just a sample pic... nothin' to do with any pageants or what not
Yes yes, it's one of those drag diva contests again. Funny it may sound to you, or rather ridiculous to some, but the contest itself is actually rather serious and as about the same as the real pageant thingie.
The real pageant has an introduction round whereby the contestants parades either in their traditional/ national costumes or just in casual wear; THAT we also have. The real pageant thingie has a round where all the contestants will parade in evening gowns of their own choices; THAT we have it here too, in this 'make believe ' pageant. The actual pageant does require the contestants to wear either one piece or two-piece swimwear, normally sponsored. NOW this one, SOMETIMES we have it here, MOST of the times we DON'T. Why? Ask the organizers and plus - most of the contestants don't feel comfy in it - understood lah, drags maaaa... ehehhe. Then the real thing has top 10*, q and a session, and then the results.
*Depending on the contest, some may even have top 15 to even top 20 before narrowing down to the final lineups of 5 maybe 6 contestants
The ONLY I say, only thing, that sets the real contest with THIS KL make believe contest - is that the contestants, well, lets just say, for THIS 'make believe' pageant thingie, are somewhat different than those competing in the real Miss Universe pageants or Miss World pageants - go figure :)
So anyways, tonight is the night when KL will have it's new make-believe:
- Miss Universe 2005 (Main prize/ title)
- Miss World 2005 (1st runner-up)
- Miss Earth 2005 (2nd runner-up)
- Miss International 2005 (3rd runner-up)
- Miss Continental 2005 (4th runner-up)
- Miss Globe 2005 (5th runner-up)
This entry reminds me of last years Miss Universe World, which I, apparently participated *one of my last few participations before I said farewell to the beautiful world of beauty queens*.
I remembered clearly I took part as Miss South Africa - boy that was a change as I normally would take up South Americana coutries especially Columbia and Mexico... Wanna hear my intro? Nothin' fancy - somethin' simple I guess, for a change...
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome down to Miss Universe World 2004. From a country that embodies unity through diversity, I'm Lauriellelai Kubeckka Kingston, South Africa!"
No no, this is not an entry about that contest last year... LOL no of course not. WHY? Sajeeee....ehehehe. No lah. Reasonnye cam nih.
Basically I didn't wanna compete. But since a good friend of mine insisted that me competed, and dia nak sponsor my evening dress, which dia berbelanja like, wooohoo! Banyak jugak, so - tannak menghampakan niat kawan, mek masuk also on last minute noticed. Picked up South Africa since itu jer country yang available, like - another 3 weeks before pageant itiew baru I decided to compete.
So the usuals, me shop for dresses and what not - not to mention my friend nih designed the Versace-look Evening wear, in shocking yellow and green colour - so last year's hottest colours around. Ehehe.
Preparations made, although ala kadar. As usual, bile dah dekat seminggu to the contest, persiapan ala kadar dah siap, and dari semangat biase biase aje terus berkobar2 nak compete, very DQ - the usual me. Mula2 feeling like "oh well, it's just another contests- win or lose, dinch kisah" but NOPE! Just before the contest, I started setting up high expectations... my fault, my mistake.
The night started late - planned at 8pm but eventually started at 10pm. I was starving like nobody's business. Owh wait, this started to sound like an entry about me competing in last years event. Tsk tsk tsk - ok ok CUT SHORT!
So I managed to get into the top 15 semifinalists and I was like one of the talked about contestant to be in the top 10, tapi, NAN ADO! Didn't get through into the final 10. Tsk tsk tks - as usual, me, went down the stage, CRIED like nobody's business. Walhal apa la sangat mek keluarkan for that contest? Regsitration fees, sponsored. Evening dress, sponsored. Casual sponsored... mek bayar make up and also bawak pasang badan jer for that night. I know I know I tak patut sentap tapi if you guys were there, ugrh!
BUT SERIOUSLY if you ask me now, to tell u guys in detail from A to Z about last years Miss Universe World 2004 - MEMANG I takkan citer, dah sebab MEMANG MEK TAK AMIK PORT lepas didn't make it into the final cut 10. Sentap! Tak concentrate dah pun. But ROUGHLY... nih la resultnye...

- BEST HAIR-DO: MISS SOUTH AFRICA Yes like hello? That was me alright! AND CORRECTO DE PURFECTO QUESTIONTO - WHY wasn't I listed in top 10?!?!?! Go figure!
And some other sub awards mek dah tak ingat. I was hoping for Best Evening dress though- tak expected best hair-do yang dengan menggayakan 3 lapis rambut wig itiew. Gambar? Nanti la mek selongkar - I tak banyak pics from that contest. Correct, sbb mek tak dapat top 6! Ehehe. NO LAH - reason being camera mek rosak. Guna camera kawan. Kawan pulak very clever - didn't snap pics sbb ASYIK tgk pageant. SENTAP DAK!? Ehehehehe
Final 6 were:
MISS GLOBE: Miss Malaysia (5th runner-up)
MISS CONTINENTAL: Miss Israel (4th runner-up)
MISS INTERNATIONAL: Miss Costa Rica (3rd runner-up)
MISS EARTH: ***Hmmm - asal mek leh lupe yang nih ek? tsk tsk tsk...
MISS WORLD: Miss Greece (1st runner-up)
MISS UNIVERSE 2004: MISS INDIA (Winner)
Waktu diaorang annouced the results tu I think I was already up in my hotel room - yeap, so much for Miss Friendship - eheheh. SENTAP tak terhengga time itiew. No no, sentap waktu kalah dengan Miss G during Miss Universe 2003 tu lain - sentap sentap pon dapat 2nd runner-up to the title, so lain lah. Ini, muke mek! Tercampak keluar dari top 10? MALU ok! - konfenssion terus terang mek. Ekekeke
So tonight, I think by now, diaorang dah start kot contest itiew. Resultsnye, tunggu lah mek buat entry tomorrow. Nanti lah I nak do research and buat entry pasal which country yang dah banyak menang titles, nah? Ooooo this is gonna be fun! No - not the REAL contest thingie. Nih, this make believe pageants in KL nih la... ekeke Tgk negara mana selalu menang.. Ehehehe.
