ONCE UPON A TIME, I WAS THAT SHOWGIRL - Episode 2

From the last episode... Episode 1: A slow beginning- a VERY SLOW beginning

The year 2000 wasn't so much of an interesting year - pretty slow, for the first half. But coming into second half of the year - especially after I celebrated my 21st birthday in June 2000, that's when semuanye berubah; dari slow, ke moderate and soon, way to fast lane nih!! Episode 2: The second half of the year 2000

So anyways, I recalled it was a week or two after I celebrated my 21st birthday in June; at that point, I already had a lot of new friends, be in dalam airline ke out of airline ke, dalam net ke ape ke, I can say I had friends dah la time tu. And it was during dinner dengan some friends kat SS15 Subang, one night, when me and my friends noticed this one table penuh dengan adik2 4 5 orang kat table tu, semue memandang kearah kiew. WTF!? Motif!?! Tak puas hati ka?! Ehehehe...

"Like, why are those peeps tgk2 ke arah sini ha? You know them, J?" (I'll just address myself as J if you guys don't mind. It's my other half of Lea... eheheh)
"E eh? Mana ade aku kenal diaorang. Owh so kalau diaorang pandang aku, I have to know them la is it? Peliz lah - tak kuasa lah... " jawab mek yang couldn't just be bothered...
"Eh... one of them is walking towards here... "

True enough, one of them walked towards my table, dengan muka ala ala confused and with dahinya dikerut2kan, kening dinaik2kan sikit ala ala Ziana Zain...

"Err... nih, J ka?" dia bersuara - like, HELLO!? How did this fella kenai nama mek as J nih!?!?!?! I just hanggukkan kepala, but still showing the blurrrrrryy face, ala ala very like 'siapa kau?' gittu... ekekeke.. This fella terus duduk depan mek, very der macam dia seronok sangat knowing me, betul as J...

"Laahhhh J! Hang buat apa kat sini? Tak kenai aku ka? Hang memmmmang peleceehh member sekampong noooh! Hang tak kenai aku dah ka?"

LIKE, HELLO!??? As in ... N - O = NO! I don't recall, duh?

"Sah sah hang satu skolah ngan aku dulu tang KSAH dulu, ingat? Hang kelaih B ingat aku dah kelas D?" NAHHH!!!!! Dia sebut KSAH, dia sebut bebudak from class D! THAT'S IT! KAK PIAH TAUUUUU DAHHH SAPA BUDAK NIH! - Kak Piah tu, ME LAR! Ehehehe...

"Owhhh... hang, MAWI ka? MasyaAllah- hang buat apa kat sini nih???? Dasyat nohh hang kenai/ ingatkan mak lagi... hehehehe..."
"Very derrr lah hang nih! Sah sah aku kuat mengutuk hang sombong dulu -sampai bila2 aku ingat. Nih tadik nih kalau hang dok buat2 perangai tak kenai hang tadik ngan aku tu, aku dah ready nak laser hang dah... ehehe - bole?"
"E eh? Ke situ pulak.. wei... hang buat apa la nih?"
"Aku la nih ngan MAS - geraund setafff... hang plak?"
"Mek ngan MAS also - crew... baru setengah tahun flying..."
"Lahhhhh why never der tell der earlier one!!! Hosmet mek ade yang crew crew jugak. Hang mai la umah kami sesenang - hang dok blah mana? Kami dok USJ 3..."

And THAT'S how I mula start melepak dengan bebudak USJ, namely ALONG, ANGAH, ACHAK, ACU, and ATEH (Mawi himself lah) yang mek featured kan dalam entry mek yang dua episode pasal celah bed tu, ingat? Ala yang "Sh*ts that people had to go through for the sake of LOVE" Part 1 and also Part 2, remember??? Ehehehe...

So after that night, bermulalah kisah baru mek lepak2 selalu kat USJ 3 tu since my apartment pun was in USJ14, so tak der lah jauh sangat kalau nak dtg melepak pon (kalau not with my lover, I would definitely lepak there on my own, dengan sesiape saje yang ade kat umah USJ time tu - sebab, satu rumah, including me, kiteorang keje shift, ikut roster. Kadang2 memang lah semua serentak ade kat umah. Ade kalanya, MOST of the time, very the tak cukup forum. Along balik keje, Acu gi keje. Mek datang, Acak nak keluar la... Ateh baru balik, Angah tgh tidur. So like - very the serabutz. Tapi mek tetap datang! Ehehehe... like situ lah tempat mek lepak most of the time...)

Lepak2 dengan these group - mek learned a lot, exposed a lot. Compared to those groups I had, when I was in MRSM, the Magnificent 5, remember? Ehehehe - Aizul, Amirul, Pian and Rizal - waktu tu was just like, so very the olok2 in everything. Then, when I furthered my studies pon, I was like, THE one and only adik2, so no gang la nak exposed and befriends with - so now that mek dapat group USJ3 tu, I was kindda like, VERY happy. And plus, staying dalam umah tu, memang semuenye happy2, gelak2 lah itu ini, very the pondan lite2 jer gittu. Ehehehehe... kalau time2 semue ade mood, semuenye drag lite2 dlm rumah jer. Barang make up? Well - lets just say Along ngan Angah dah way way ahead dari mek at that point. Both of them bukan sekadar ade make up2 basic, but they had like, the whole bag make up yang penuh nihhh dengan make up. Bile ku tanya, 'saje je beli - nak drag2 kat rumah, senang...' Ehehehe. So drag2 kat umah, ape konsep? Konsepnya - bile drag kat umah... leh buat video clips guna videocam si Ateh tu. Eheheh - setiap ahli rumah ade dah favorite artiste masing2... Along- gila habis kat Ning; Acak- Yes, very derrr dengan Dayang nye itiew; Angan ngan Atam- sama2 tarik rambut sebab dua dua gilakan Ziana Zain; Acu- fanatic habis dengan Siti Siti and allllways Siti! And dia memang kalau make up bebetul pon, adeeeee lah sikittt ghupernye macam Siti Nurhaliza itiew, ehehehe... Ateh- Alllllways jadik cameragirl jer... and Mek? Ehehehe - dinch drag lah waktu tu, and plus, very segan nih nak buat show even depan geng2 tu. Tapi mek pendam rahsia, simpan this feeling that one fine day, mek nak buat Erra Fazira, bole? Ehehehe - Feeeeeeeeeeeeeling kan? Hehehe...

Selain dari buat2 video clip tu - sekali sekala ade la jugak si Along ke, si Angah tu, always try make upkan si Atam ke, Ateh ke, Acu ke... but not on me yet- Although waktu tu mek dah started develope this feeling... "Cam manalah rupenya aku kalau aku drag ek?" Eheheh - but the statement of the year mek tu kept on coming back to my head each time I had those thoughts... "Simpang aku nak drag! Cukup lah aku nih semi drag... " LOL!!!!! Semi drag? Semi drag tu cam mana ek?

This I have to say - kalau melalui gambar, senang nak tunjuk/ terangkan. But you guys have to give me a few more days kot sebab am on the track of caling a friend yang might just have pic2 lama mek in SEMI DRAG itiew. Ehehehe - cross your fingers that I might just get those pics, so that I could scan 'em and upload 'em here dalam episode2 yang akan datang... SO in the mean time, mek terpaksalah menerangkan apakah itiew, SEMI DRAG in words. The way I see it, waktu tu, I semi drag cam nih. I wear 3/4 pants, tight jeans or shorts, most of the time paddypusher tu ler, then with a girls top, no, tanpa bra ok! And then, feeling2 letak compact powder (yes, it has got to be L`OreaL but of course... ehehe), then mascara sikit kat my eye lashes, kasik nampak galak sikit mata, lip glossss yang maha dasyat bagai nak melimpah turun dari my bibir itew, then, to complete the look, VINCCI sandals! TETAP Vincci nih! Ehehehe. So ala ala semi drag cam tu la mek all the time when I go out with Along and the gang... day time ke night time ke, cam tu la. Very the orang cakap adik2 sissy boys jambu separuh siap! Ehehehehe...

LATEST UPDATES- MAY 3RD 2005: GAMBAR2 SEMI DRAG... heheheheeh. FINALLY! I got this pics from Mak Ayam Nabilla Natasha... kat saloon dia. Ehehehe. Thanks May Ayam. But anyways, sorry sbb I just had to blurkan pixies nih - tak leh tunjuk clearly. Nanti pecah lobang! HAHAHAHA...

So anyways... by the time I got to know these gang really well, Acak ngan Angah selalu dah bawak me to this gay club in town - BudakBiru! (BB) kat Bukit Bintang!!! Eheheh. I mean, it wasn't the first time me went there, I mean, I went there in 1998 dah sekali dua. Tu pun, thanks to si kenit Che- Detz lah! Haiyoh! Kezi tau ponen tu! First2 time dia bawak mek gi BB tu, dahhhhh kena caras dengan mak ayem Sharmaine. Keji tau bile ingatkan balik! Very derrr lah malu mek time tu. But at that time, tgk show paperdoll drag queens kat BB tak thrilling sangat. But in 2000 when I went back there, lain macam jer feelingnye. Maybe, at that point, minda mek ade sikit dah tercemar utk drag. 1998, dinch ade feeling sekuat tahun 2000. Tapi mek tetap pendamkan hasrat nak draggon tu sebab I nak stick to my believe - SEMI DRAG also can carik makan. Ehehehehe.

So there you go - perkembangan mek in 2000. Dah ala ala exposed lah jugak. I mean, by the time 2000 ended, ramai dah kat BB area kat Bukit Bintang itiew dah kenal... "Ooooo itu laaa si |Lady^L`0reaL^The^Great| itiew..." ehehehe. Tapi waktu tu, I have to admit. I get this amazing sights of real divas, yang performing kat BB (BudakBiru) itiew,... I mean, like, boobies... real hair... haiyoh!!! Cantik ok! Very der mek feeling2 kejap tapi... tah lah. I guess pintu hati mek nak drag belum terbuka itu time. Eheheh... maybe dalam Episode ke-3 kot, maybe, who knows? Kalau nak tahu... wait for the 3rd Episode of "Once upon a time, I was that Showgirl".... :)
