Healthy Meal Planning

Dearest all,

Remember my 'MILK' entry? Which I did back at my blogspot.com page? The health 'entry' thingie? Well - here's something more about health. I've decided to put in an entry about HEALTHY MEAL PLAN.

SAMPLE DAILY MENU PLAN - As suggested by Betty Crocker in her book



Breakfast
- Citrus Fruit or Juice
- Cereal with Milk
- Egg or Meat
- Toast, Quick Bread or Grits
- Tea, Coffee or Milk


Lunch
- Meat, Fish, Poultry or Cheese*
- Vegetable and/ or Salad
- Breads, Noodles or Rice
- Fruit
- Milk
*Legumes (dried peas or beans) or peanut butter can be substituted


Dinner
- Meat, Fish, Poultry or Cheese
- Green or Yellow Vegetables and Salad (or two vegetables)
- Breads, Noodles or Rice
- Fruit or Dessert (optional)
- Milk
