Life as a crew - KUL to LHR (Part 3)


Previously, dalam Part 1 and Part 2 (gi la bacer kalau belum baca - kang tak paham pulak ape mek dok nak merepek nih! LOL!)

So anyways, bersambung balik kite yer. Owh yes, before landing punye light meal service. Light meal service nih tak der bezanye sangat dengan Dinner or Lunch service. Sama jer, cuma the meal tu jer ala ala makanan ringan (tapi kadang kala mek nengok, heavy gak makanan2 yang diclaim oleh catering tu as 'light meal' - hmmmm) So ape2 pon, service kena buat jugak. So basically, sama lah jugak macam 1st service lepas take off tu. Tak der beza pon. Same ol' thing... banyak keje? Tak der la sngt - easy meal service I'd say. And kitaorang buat service tu tak leh lengah2 take our own sweet time. Kang service tak habis, dah nak landing, HOW?

Normally 2nd service starts approx. 2 to 3 hours before landing - that should give us crew a lot of time to habiskan service tu. And no ruang for screwing ups - galley steward salah buat keje tang mana2, NAH! THAT'S IT! Naya! Especially if you work in Economy Class... 290++ pax? One simple mistake, KABOOM there goes your meal service! LOL! Mujur lah mek keje upper deck! Hehehe...

Once service is completed, u think thats it? Haiyoh! Ade lagi ok. KALAU TADIK waktu rest period tu tak buat bebende nih, NOW is the right time to finish all the documentations like uplift of stocks and what not (but knowing its London, its Auto Uplift of Drystores, Minerals and Amenities). Then, kena close Bar (yes, once dah OPEN the sealed Complimentary Bar, musti di CLOSEkan bar itiew...) Dan ade bende yang tak payah nak cuci, ade bende yang kena cuci. Mek pon dah tak ingat bebende tu semua. Pastu, kire macam, semua bende yang diambil pada awalnya, kena stowe balik at the original place. And by this time, my Chief ngan my Stewardess dah sebok collection Menucards, Headsets, returning pax Jackets and stuff. Haiyoh, busy busy busy balik la cabin upperdeck itiew.

(Nampak sangat mek nak habiskan entry nih cepat kan? LOL! Kelam kabut sangat story mek nih! Tapi memang dah tak der bende nak citer dah pong dalam part 3 nih - awat yang mek getek nak buat part 3 tak tau!? Should have habiskan sampai Part 2 jer... ISH!) So lepas dah settle bab cabin semua, I, as Galley steward, kena ensure Galley all checked and secured, ready for landing - and report to my Chief. Dan lepas tu, apa lagik, proceed to my designated crew seat for landing lor... hehehehe...

MH8, you're looking good - you are clear for landing on runaway 32L!

That's it? Nahhh - dinch u ols! Ade lagik kisahnye. Ingat sekejap ker pax nak disembark keluar dari B747-400??? Taking it as a full flight - HAIYOH! Boleh tahan jugak lamanye, sempat la mek lenguh2kan kaki mek! LOL! Dah habis diaorang disembark, we have to collect all local Malaysian news papers yang masih elok, utk digunakan dalam the returning flight. And also, kiteorang kena check cabin, seats, toilets, for any foreign objects, kot2 lah ade pax tertinggal ape ke, kan? Mek pernah ade dua kes - sekali mek jumpe pouch bag yang ade I think more than RM5000? Haiyoh! Mek terus menjerit ok! Hehehe - pass it to the security la of course! Gile! Heheheh. And then there was another one more time, mek dok check cabin first class kot, mek jumpe Nokia Communicator dengan Nokia 8850! Heheh, imagine, 2 first class pax, simply left hp cam itiew? Hehehe - nangis! And lepas dah habis check semua, what do we do? Haiyoh! Tunggu ape lagik! Berambus keluar dari aircraft lor. Keluar2 aircraft jer... "YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MEK BERJAYA! 13 hours and now am in LONDON - whatever mek nak buat malam nih ek? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....." Hehehehe...

The end... (Dang I should have finished this part dalam part 2 hari tu... chit! Hehehe)
