First time in Sydney - GIGIH nak tgk Sydney Opera House!!!

Hehehe - dearest all,

This story mengisahkan pasal me and my 3 (or was it 4 of us? Hmmmm) fellow crew members yang baru bergelar first timers to Sydney, Australia. Apparently, when I signed in for that particular MH123 Kul-Syd flight, tgk2 kat sign-in form, ade lagi 3 nama crew yang se-batch, se-geng, dan se-kepala, flying dalam flight itiew dengan mek! Owh gumbirrraaaa!!!! And bile working position diberi, kena pulak sorang dari 3 tu keje dengan mek di main deck business class, and sorang keje zone sebelah mek, Economy Zone C dan sorang lagi pulak keje depan, First Class - Nah!!! Semue berdekatan aje. Ape lagik!? Kecoh binti lavameletop lah Zone A, B main deck and C!!! So anyways, dari dalam flight lagi, the four of us were like talking about nak buat ape lah kat Sydney, nak gi mane lah? Itu ini - haiyoh... 1 1/2 days off in Sydney - mek gumbira ok! Like, it was my first time (and to the other 3 pon, first time jugak lah - tapi mek dinch la tahu how excited they were - macam mek ke, kureng ke? Lebih ke? Ape ke, kan??? ) - and semestinya that 1 1/2 days tu mek cadang nak make full use out of it.

It was somewhere in August (or was in September, hmmm) - tapi apa apa pon, yang pasti, Sydney baru lepas musim winter dan menurut ramalan kaji cuaca via internet, mek dapati suhunya ala ala sejuk2 manja lite2 Genting Highlands aje!!! (spekulasi is the key mother of all f**ks!) And SO I WAS F**KED!!!! As we touched down safely in Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport, my In-Flight Supervisor dah buat itu announcement (menurut Captain lah yang memberi info pasal weather itiew) yang the current temperature kat Kota Sydney itiew was somewhere like, tah- tak ingat la pulak (duh! This was waaayy back in 2002 - hello!?!?!) Tapi ape2 pon, yang mek ingat, bijik mata mek terbeliak sebesar bij kelents mek yang mengalami weather shock - setelah dapat tahu yang the weather was still ala ala sejuk - dinch lite2 Genting Highlands - HOW!? MEK TAK BAWAK BAJU TEBAL2!?!?! Maaati la mek! Very the mek tak sangka tidak menduga... HOW!?!?! But being the usual me, I said "Ala - it can't be that bad lah! Ape lah sangat sejuk2 lite2 itiew???" - Haiyoh, kekwat nih!!!!



So, lepas dah sampai hotel semue, Avillion Hotel kat corner of Pitt & Liverpool Streets itiew (yes, after kena tahan dengan Immigration kat arrival hall sebab ape tah - for nearly 1/2 an hour - biase lah, Sydney kan strict sikit, tapi lepas tu diaorang lepaskan jugak - yer lah, sah sah tak der buat salah ape2 ke, kan... jadi motifnya 1/2 jam itiew? Mek dinch tau!) - so masuklah ke dalam hotel; not bad. So lepas dah debriefing semue, dan wished everyone thanks for the flight and what not - terus nih masuk bilik cepat2 and then the three of my friends nih, Feeza, Kamil and Faizol nih serbu bilik mek dan we talked and discussed for a while on the activities yang bakal kami nak buat the whole one day. Discussed pi discussed mai, we decided nak boom2 tidur dulu for the first half of the day, and then by lunch baru semua nak keluar. Lunch tak lunch, 2pm plus baru we all semua gathered back and decided to go out. Where to?
Sydney Habour/ Sydney Opera House!!!!!!!!!



Berbekalkan peta Sydney yang telah kami dapat from the hotel receptionist, we planned carefully - it looked macam dekat jer, walaupun memang dalam peta nampak jauh tapi pon, dengan semangat kental dan gigih serta jitu, we sticked to the plan - nak jugak gi tgk Sydney Opera House tu. (seniors cakap - biar lah Opera House tu jauh, janji as a crew, sekali jenguk pun jadik lah...) So, as the four of us dah ready nak maqueamouve, tetiber sorang lagi stewardess nak ikut also - dia cakap dia dah pernah pergi sitiew, so dia tahu lah selok belok jalan pintas ke ape ke. Memandangkan dia memang senior siiikkittt dari kiteorang berempat, so we said, "Yeah, Shasha, join jer lah. It'll be easier to reach that place and its like what they said, the more the merrier, kan?"...

Memang the more the merrier, memang sangat! Tapi, the fakta "Owh I've been to the Circular Quay, dah seen the Sydney Opera House - so I know jalan cepat nak sampai sitiew" itiew was a total NAN ADO! Dia pon blur blur semaca jer. Dari hotel - patutnye ke Circular Quay itiew, tibe2, muncul di Darling Habour katanye!!!! Maaati lah kau Sha! Salah jalannn katanye!!!! Tapi, mujurlah Darling Habour tu pun ala ala lite2 melerts tempatnye - sempat lah posing mosing gambar. Waktu tu macam - udara so nyaman dan menyegarkan - matahari pon ade - mana ade sejuknye!?!?!?!




Lepas dah habis bersnap2 gambar, we moved on - masuk kiri kuar kanan belok situ keluar sinin... haiyoh! Pening jadiknye mek si Sha tu buat - namun, mek masih belom nampak Sydney Opera House itiew! Tapi, as we turned one of the small small roads, nah - dah tiada tertera dalam peta - dah mula cuak - jalan tu tak jumpa jalan nih tak jumpe - tapi last2 jumpe gak! Eheheh - as we turned to another main road which I think heads straight to Circular Quay itiew, angin dah mula kencang, bertiup2 sejuks nih! Mek dah mula cuak sejuk - hanjs sangat! Baru tadik jer cuaca lite2 manja - now dah menggigil sikit sebab mek pakai baju very der nipis onez. (getek kan!?) So jalan2 lagi, NAH!!!!! ITIEW DIA!!! FINALLY! BERJAYA!!!!! Sydney Opera House! Dah dapat kulihat!!! Gumbiranya kami - tak terkata! Penat berjalan - dan sampai sitiew, semua LARI nih ke tepi2 laut itiew (laut ke? Hmmm ) - dan ape lagik! Bergambarinas lah!!!





Nak balik dari sitiew - sempat singgah shopping, makan2 semua dulu (tetap Mc D! How sedeh!) Pastu - tgk2, dah malam. How? Nak jalan balik? Ewww - tak kuasa. Ape lagik, semua pakat naik cab lah! Cekik daghah nak mampos - tapi mujur sharing2 in caring, gittiew. Ehehehehe...



So itu lah dia pengalaman pertama mek in Sydney - dan kesungguhan dan kegigihan mek serta kawan2 mek nak tgk Sydney Opera House serta Sydney Harbour Bridge itiew - meredah onak udara cuaca sejuk itiews. Ehehehehe... haiyoh! Masih fresh ingatan mek waktu bergelak ketawa riang riang famili ceria dengan Sha, Faizol, Feeza and Kamil kat sitiew - very derrr! Eheheeh. Tak per. Rezeki lebih, mek nak kembali ke Sydney - sebagai pelancong, dan bukan lagi sebagai crew, huhuh... :)
